nell harris

Nell spent her years up until her 30s undiagnosed and unsure of what she truly needed in her professional life. Despite this uncertainty, there was always a common thread of art and helping others throughout her various careers. She found herself drawn to careers where she could use her quick inspiration, lateral thinking, and artistic strengths. Nell has been drawing for as long as she can remember, and art has always been her tether to the world—her way of interacting with, processing, and sharing with it.

Nell identifies as AuDHD, and her diagnostic journey unfolded alongside her eldest daughter's. The process of diagnosis and determining the best supports to implement was a confusing and clunky experience for her. However, it wasn't all negative. Since her diagnosis, Nell has found validation, understanding, and acceptance in herself. She realized that she isn't broken or wrong, but simply different. This difference comes with amazing perks that she hadn't previously fully appreciated. When she provides herself with the right supports to optimize her environment, she truly flourishes.

This journey of self-discovery and learning has ignited a passion in Nell. She is incredibly passionate about neuroinclusivity and advocating for a neuroaffirming world—one where society AVAILs itself to neurodiversity by Appreciating, Validating, Accommodating, Including, and Learning.
