Kate | Ep 1 | Navigating Step-Parenting & Embracing Unique Needs

I was given the privilege to be the first guest on Carters 'Touched out podcast'. I was so excited to be the first guest on this podcast and truly believed in his vision of showcasing the tougher side of parenting and the raw emotions parents experience with their children and themselves, especially in a day and age where mental health is widely spoken of and advocated for.
I was nervous going into the show at first but carter made me feel so comfortable, calm and welcome. The safe space he provided made me feel like I could discuss all the topics he had prepared with a completely honest and open heart and mind. Carter and I knew each other personally prior to the podcast which did make the interaction somewhat easier however even if I didn't know him prior, I imagine I'd have felt the same way I did due to his relaxed approach and friendly demeanour during our interaction. I truly believe he has such a great vision with his podcast and I know he is destined for many more ventures to tell his story and help other people tell theirs.

Michelle - Ep 2 | Ep 2 | Miscarriage, Motherhood, and Mental Health: Michelle's Journey

I was one of the first guests on the podcast. Carter made me feel welcomed, reassured and comfortable as it was my first time appearing on a podcast. Carter provided a safe place for me to tell my story of my infertility, pregnancy and post-partum struggles. My experience on the podcast felt as though I was chatting with a long-lost friend and exchanging our own trauma experiences. But also able to provide information and support to anyone who chooses to listen. I've continued to listen to Carter's podcast and have enjoyed his interaction with every guest that has been on. Their stories make a difference and it is about time a podcast like this was made. Especially for men/fathers. It's been an honor to have met Carter and I'm excited to see what he does with his new passion.

Breeana - Ep 7 | Ep 6 | Body Positivity and Parenting: Lessons from Breanna

Working with Carter was an absolute joy. In all communications, Carter was friendly and professional which helped me to feel at ease during our interview. During our conversation, Carter was incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding, allowing me to reach a raw and vulnerable place. Even after our chat, Carter went to check on me and my mental health and ensure I was okay. I can without a doubt say that the experience I had working with him was not just a one-off, but truly a testament to who he is as a person.

Jo - Kaiko | Ep 16 | Sensory Solutions: Kaiko Fidgets and the Intersection of Neurodiversity

I just want to thank you for the experience of being on your podcast last week. As a neuro spicy human and with a cup overfull i wont lie in saying i was both nervous and a little overwhelmed at the thought of being interviewed. It was the opposite of what i was anticipating - it was fun, the questions engaging and literally felt like i was just chatting to a friend. To be honest i think i forgot we were interviewing after a minute or to. I found myself not wanting the conversation to end. So thank you again for making the process utterly amazing and i cant wait to hear the finished product
